TO be a citizen of this land with full rights and obligation you have to be landed immigrant whith no crime 0% crime in canada for three years then you can apply for citizenship through any local immigration office .
CONDITIONS
1- you must speake and write english or french not perfect but at least they can understand you
2- as i said no crime commited and convected by any court of law.
3- 3year full stay in canada as landed immigrant
after you pass the exam which is very simple exam about canada and the political system
almost every body pass and if you do not pass they well do the exam again
remember you must tell them every thing they aske on the application do not lie because it might cost later on
like where did you live in the past 10 years
did you commit any crime in the past 10 years do not lie because they well check whith every country you mention
after 6 to9 month they well send you a letter of confirmation and the date of the interveiw.
after you obtain the citizenship card keep it it is the most important thing you because whith this card you can obtain a canadian passport and becom a 100% canadian

in canada you have the right to vote in any election city ,province, federal if you are landed immigrant you can not vote in any election
you can join any political party you like, to be a member it cost i think $13 or mor the only thing you can not be is to be a primminister. (-the governor general in canada is
a chines born canadian com to canada as a refugee)
you can apply to any federal job in canada if you have the qulification. landed immigrant can not apply to any federal job in canada.
OVERSEAS
the canadian government well protect you any where you go if you face any legal problem, but not in your country of origin like egypt if you still have the egyptian citizenship.
canada allowed you to have dual citizenship that is mean mor than one citizenship
you are not allowed to have mor than wife that is the law
you have the right to live any where in canada whith no ristrection on your movement as long as you do not commit any crime
the legal system in canada base on you are innocent until you are proven to be guilty in the court of law
